The Perez-Guerrero Trust Fund (PGTF) for South-South Cooperation Launches 2013 Project Cycle
The Chairman of The Group of 77 is inviting the Philippine Government, non-governmental organizations and, sub-regional and regional institutions, to submit project proposals for the 2013 project cycle of the Perez-Guerrero Trust Fund (PGTF) for South-South Cooperation (SSC). Interested parties should take into consideration the three major project eligibility requirements: a) projects should address the sectoral priorities contained in the Caracas Programme Action on Economic Cooperation among developing countries; b) projects should have a maximum multiplier effect, and in the case of regional projects, serve as pilot projects for other regions; and c) the estimated maximum amount of funding support available for any given project would be US$35,000.00.
The DFA-UNIO would appreciate receiving project proposals on or before 15 April 2013 to enable the Department to forward the documents to the Philippine Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York before the 30 April 2012 deadline of PGTF.
