Request for project proposals under the Green Aid Plan (GAP) Program, Government of Japan
We have received information that the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Manila is requesting submission of project proposals from government agencies and private sector for possible technical assistance from the Japanese government under the Green aid Plan (GAP) program.

In this regard, we would like to invite our partners in CSCCSD and the Business Sector to check this facility and submit project proposals, if any, to the Policy and Planning Unit of the Board of Investment (BOI)-Department of Trade and Industry. Project proposals should have relevance or consistent with government policies and thrusts on environmental management such as energy conservation, environment protection and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse,Recycle). The proposal should also consider Japan’s interest in system construction (e.g. developing and implementing system for energy conservation) and human resource development (e.g. upgrading of Pollution Control Officers). Please be informed that there is no prescribed maximum cost per proposal.

Please directly submit proposals to Ma. Corazon Halili-Dichosa, Director for Policy and Planning of the BOI on or before 2 March 2009. For further inquiries, please contact Ms. Sandra Marie S. Recolizado or Ms. Alica Magali at 897-6682 local 225.
