RP re-elected as Vice Chair in UN body on Sustainable Development |
| The United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development (UN CSD) in New York re-elected the Philippines as Vice Chair, in a move seen as a vote of confidence for the Philippines’ continuing advocacy for the advancement of global environmental and developmental issues, the Philippine office in the UN said in a news release.

NEDA Heads PCSD on New Action Agenda |
| Acting Socioeconomic Planning Secretary and NEDA Director General and Philippine Council for Sustainable Development (PCSD) Chairperson Augusto Santos chaired the first quarter meeting of the PCSD last January 20 at the Linden Suites, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. During the meeting, the PCSD approved the new 2010-2011 action agenda which includes the drafting of the Vision statement of the Council, integration of sustainable development in the new MTPDP, and creation of a PCSD Pool of Advisors, among others. click here for full details... |
